Hailes Pilgrimage 2008

Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd June 2008

This is your invitation to join the Pilgrimage to Hailes 2008 - a festival of uplifting events in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswold hills at the historic and remote Hailes Church and Abbey. For over 800 years pilgrims have made their way here, and Hailes continues to draw people in search of stillness, peace and the presence of God.

On June 14 we welcome Bishop Michael as part of his Gloucestershire Millennium Pilgrimage, and you are invited to make your own pilgrimage to this special place and enjoy a programme of events during the festival week.

Hailes Church is delighted to host The Holy Fool of Hailes, a new installation by artist Jake Lever, throughout the festival; with enlightening entertainment from Jester Jang, fooling and frolicking from June 20 to 22. The Friends of Hailes Church present the Munday Consort playing Medieval and Tudor Music on June 21.
